This is the story of my trip to Starbucks to listen to Green Day (Give Me Novacaine) on my iPod, enjoy a Caffè Americano, and read a book titled “Man’s Search for Meaning” by Viktor E. Frankl.

Falcon Punch Concert

SplashCast with Flickr photos and YouTube video.
Produced by Kayakman Media

Falcon Punch has managed to blend together a number of alternative music styles in way that puts them a cut above other garage bands of this type. Folk-punk, new wave, 60s folk-rock, and psychedelic music styles can clearly be heard in their songs. A number of the band members are former Evangel University students. Their songs deal with such real life issues as anger, frustration, and disappointment (among other subjects). Their concerts are full of wild energy and are totally unpredictable. Most of the photos and video in the above SplashCast are from the Falcon Punch concert at the Mudhouse Coffeehouse (The HUB) at MSU.

Falcon Punch ROCKS!

The above photos are part of my Flickr photoset on decaying structures. I usually take photos that are more like what you might see on a postcard, but with this set I wanted to expand beyond the norm and try something new.
